Make a Manchester Bee Mosaic

I had a great time making a mosaic Manchester bee this weekend. My husband bought me this fantastic workshop experience for Christmas.  It's run by Amanda from Mcr Mosaics and is great value at £50.

The day starts at Manchester Art Gallery and includes some bee spotting around the city.  Amanda talks about the significance of the bee and why it is associated with Manchester.  The bee workshop takes place at Foundation Coffee House on Whitworth Street. 

 

Amanda has 15 years experience so help is at hand if you need it and she's lovely too. 

 

It's a must for Mancunians and if you're visiting the city and have time please check it out.  You'll have fun, learn loads and have a lovely souvenir to take home too.
